One of the quickest and most technologically advanced
vehicles of its day, the Porsche 959 is a legendary supercar from the 1980s. It
had a 2.8-liter flat-6 turbocharged engine with 444 horsepower and a peak
torque of 501 Nm (368 lb-ft) at 5500 rpm. It also had a permanent all-wheel
drive system and a manual 6-speed gearbox with the ability to dynamically alter
how much torque was sent to the front and rear wheels.
