The Weissach Package: Making the Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Even More Track-Focused

The Porsche Cayman GT4 RS is the new flagship model in the 718 family – a driver’s car designed to impress. It has a fixed rear wing attached to the rear diffuser by a swan-neck, which ensures significant downforce and excellent traction.

The sporty design of the GT4 RS is further enhanced with the optional Weissach package. It is even more track-focused due to the front axle lift system, lightweight design, and other characteristics.

A naturally aspirated, six-cylinder engine with a 4.0-liter displacement makes up the Porsche Cayman GT4 RS, a highly maneuverable mid-engine concept. It boasts a high-revving idea with six independent throttle valves for a quick reaction and easily exceeds 9,000 rpm.

It produces 493 horsepower (79 horsepower more than the GT4) and 331 lb-ft of torque. The GT4 RS actually employs the 4.0-liter flat-six from the most recent 911 GT3, which has 79 more horsepower and 14 more pound-feet of torque than the standard GT4.

In comparison to the 718 Cayman GT4, the aerodynamic idea of the 718 Cayman GT4 RS has been further developed, and the whole concept has been adjusted to the car's significant accomplishments in performance, aerodynamics, chassis, and, of course, design.

This is especially noticeable on the rear diffuser and fixed rear wing with swan-neck attachment, which provide significant downforce and excellent traction.

In 2021, the Porsche Cayman GT4 RS made its debut. The RS treatment, which is generally only given to 911 models, is being applied for the first time to the Cayman. Porsche's 718 Cayman GT4 RS is the company's most potent mid-engined sports vehicle to date.
